The hottest location for properties for sale has to be the Costa del Sol in Spain's Andalucia region. Next we come into Benalmadena which is split into the coastal area and the Pueblo, it also includes Arroyo de La Miel. Benalmadena is famous for its award-winning Puerto Marina as well as for its sandy beaches, great restaurants and Paloma Park. There are numerous developments in Benalmadena such as Arenal Golf close to the Xanit Hospital, other developments include Jupiter in el Gamonal.
A little further on from Benalmadena and accessed either via the coastal route or dual carriageway is Fuengirola. Past Calahonda, we are starting to approach the areas outside of Marbella such as Elviria and El Rosario where you will find upmarket properties such as villas and luxury apartments for sale on the coast or in the mountain such as in Los Monteros or La Mairena where you will find the most amazing views over the Mediterranean and well into the North African coast of Morocco.
Marbella and Puerto Banus, the playground of the rich and famous, ideal to do some celeb spotting while you are there and soak up the atmosphere! Old town Marbella has remained very traditionally Spanish which is one of the great attractions to the numerous visiotrs as well as those in search of property. Of course, there are numerous very upmarket resorts in the immediate location, prices today are very affordable,it is not difficult to find a great bargain property in Marbella. Past Nueva Andalucia and Puerto Banus we come into San Pedro de Alcantara with its lovely beaches and traditional Spanish charm and feel, especially if you venture to the town centre where you will find the square.
The lovely sandy beaches of Estepona and its port are a few minutes drive past San Pedro, Estepona offers a great location with easy access to Gibraltar, a wide range of amenities and facilities as well as good access to the rest of the Costa del Sol. Taking the old route towards Gibraltar we come across Sabinillas, Duquesa, La Line de la Concepcion and eventually Gibraltar. Should you go along the AP7 towards Gibraltar you will come past Sotogrande famous for its luxury villas and apartments close to the port as well as being home to one of the best known polo pitches on the Costa del Sol and of course the most famous golf courses in Andalucia!
